REVIEW : Blue Ambition, Seduction Of The Innocent (Perris Records, Release date: 03.28.2025)

Since 2000, Frédéric Slama has released 23 albums (!!!) under the AOR moniker and several other projects with the elite of the Westcoast & Melodic Rock scene! Nowadays, Frédéric is back with a new Melodic Rock project entitled “Blue Ambition”, consisting of a power trio of musicians such as Robbie LaBlanc, Tommy Denander and, of course, Frédéric itself!

REVIEW : RAY OF LIGHT, SALUTE (Release date: February 14, 2025 /Baysis Media)

RAY OF LIGHT is a superb new Melodic Rock/AOR band that consists of Gregg Cromack (vocals), Jörg Wartmann (guitar), Thomas Bauer (bass) and Stephan Bayerlein (drums). Originally the band was founded by songwriter and guitarist Robby Boebel & drummer Stephan Bayerlein but due to the tragic loss of Boebel, who passed away far too early in 2022, Jörg Wartmann was the right man to take place on the guitars.

For the fans of the classic Euro melodic hard rock sound the name of BONFIRE is a no stranger!! These Germans are synonymous to high-quality hard rock stuff and in their long-time career they have releaed some classic records as “Don’t Touch The Light” (1986), “Fireworks”(1987) and “Point Blank” (1989) just to name a few!

Swedish melodic rockers Wildness are pleased to release their brand new studio album, “Avenger”, out now via Frontiers Music Srl. Wildness was formed back in 2014 by drummer/songwriter Erik Modin, guitar players Adam Holmström and Pontus Sköld and lead singer Gabriel Lindmark.

2024 is already a past but not forgotten regarding the so many good releases that we had. Before the presentation of the Heavy Paradise's Top Lists of 2024, I would like to thank all the bands, artists and labels that shared their music with Heavy Paradise for yet another year. Thank you!!! I would also like to say that this year due to my work time I haven't had the time to listen to more albums to review them. So, enough with words let's see which were the albums and songs that impressed Heavy Paradise the most!

Two years ago a new sensation act from Sweden REMEDY released its debut opus, "Something That Your Eyes Won't See", and achieved to gain a strong feedback from both fans and music press. To be honest, the name of VOODOO ANGEL was unknown to me till now that I received the promo of the band's second album for a review. After the very first spin of "Midnight Rouge", I have to admit that I like it a lot!!!

Wildness was formed in 2014 by drummer and songwriter Erik Modin, guitar players Adam Holmström and Pontus Sköld and lead singer Gabriel Lindmark. The band performed live and released a few demos during the first two years, before signing a record deal and releasing their first two albums on the German label AOR Heaven.
