HELL IN THE CLUB / Devil On My Shoulder (2014)

HELL IN THE CLUB came like a rocket out of nowhere in 2011 with its debut and offered us a really solid melodic hard hittin' album that left me hungry for more. Nowadays, the band is back and ready for some bigger things with the new opus which is titled "Devil On My Shoulder". As in the debut, "Devil On My Shoulder" continues to the same early 90's melodic hard rock sound and that means big and in-your-face performances, loud guitars, catchy hooks and choruses with a 'modern' twist that makes the final result extremely attractive!

The opening tune of "Bare Hands" is just a killer rocker; melodic as it gets with a 'sweet' melody and of course a chorus to sing-a-long for days! "Devil On My Shoulders" is simply huge!! It's edgier with an 80's hard rock vibe, killer guitars and attitude. "Beware Of The Candyman" and set the party on fire; yes, this song is the perfect soundtrack for a crazy Rock 'n' Roll party with beers girls, girls and girls (if ya know what I'm sayin').  "Pole Dancer" is yet another party anthem while in "Save Me" we are dealing with a more fast-paced rocker that is build for big arenas! Other highlights form the new album are the 'modern' rocker of "No More Goodbyes", "Night" and "Proud".

Bottom line is that Hell In The Club returns to after three years with a killer album! "Devil On My Shoulder" grabbed my attention at once and made me push the repeat button again and again! The spirit of the 80's, early 90's, hair metal/melodic hard rock scene is alive in this powerful and extremely enjoyable release.
