Richie Sambora / Stranger in This Town (1991)

This is a very interesting release. Richie Sambora is the lead guitarist and a found member of Bon Jovi and this is his first solo album which was released back in 1991. I always was a huge fan of Sambora's playing and I think that in Bon Jovi glory 80's dayz his solos and riffs was an inspiration for a lot of young guitarists.
Also with his 'partner' , Jon Bon Jovi, they wrote all of the big Bon Jovi hits back then. So from a guy who can really knows how to play the six-string, he can write some great songs and has an excellent 'rock' voice, a solo album is the next step to his carrer. And "Stranger in This Town" was, and still is, a great album.
" Stranger in This Town" is a bluesy hard rock album full of fantastic guitar work and some great tracks in the vain of Sambora's main band, Bon Jovi. 'Church of Desire ', 'Ballad of Youth', 'One Light Burning ' and the super-commercial "Rosie' are great tunes and my personal favourites from Sambora's debut album.
All in all this is a great album not only for guitarists but also for the fans of bluesy hard rock sound and of course this is a big must have for all the fans of Bon Jovi.
